A TBI Tb is around 450 CFM. the biggest issues with a carb eng is people put WAYYYYYYY too big of a carb on there eng. they think bigger is better. I hate my 78 Camaro due to it is carb. You will need a non-computer controlled transmission (1987 to 1991) or a aftermarket trans controller, TCI makes one. You need alot of sophistcated equipment to tune an ECU - piggy back, interface, laptop, chip burner, dyno, AFR meter, etc. A carb only requires an AFR meter, jets and some patience.
