Most people just learn to live with the hole in the center, or use an over shot card, or something else ontop of the shot. The only way I was able to get 100% closed shells with 7/8th's ounce in those hulls was to use the 1-ounce WAA12SL wads (CB-1100, or green duster). That is the easiest way to fix the problem.

The AAHS/Longshot loads listed are at or near SAAMI max pressure with the wads they list. I hadn't planned on it. SAAMI max is 12,000psi. Mike, if you are looking for 1150fps to 1200 fps 7/8oz loads, the CB0178-12 wad fits perfectly (I picked up a sample pack at the PA State Shoot). Also, you should recheck your loading data. The velocity and powder weight you list is for a 1150fps load, not a 1200. I actually don't care for the book, but Reloading for Shotgunners, 5th Edition has BP Multi-Hull 12/2A data for buckshot, and it's by weight. For 2 3/4" buckshot it has 1oz all the way to 1 3/8oz for that hull.
