Not sure if it counts as the same effect or not, since the weapon only affects normal attacks while Apt Pupil affects persona attacks as well... I was wanting to use Apt pupil in conjunction with a Moon fused critical weapon for easy knockdowns. But if they don't stack, I could easily use that slot for something else.
