The 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge was developed for the Luger. This model is the Artillery Luger, developed so gunners could defend their batteries from enemy infantry. The barrel is 4 inches longer than the standard Luger and it features long-range sights, an attachable shoulder stock, and the 32-round Trommelmagazin 08.

I am considering buying this gun from a friend of mine. All serial numbers are matching, in and out, except for the magazine. It's 1916. One unusual feature -- it has "Made in Germany" stamped right under the imperial acceptance marks on the right side. Safety reads "GESICHERT".
