Legend skill level feels pretty good and at a25% chance for an exotic, I don't think I've done more than 8-10 without getting anything. I definitely don't think it's a great system but I think the people who say it's too hard are picking the wrong lost sectors. RNG means you could get 5 exotics in a row or run 30+ without one, and on an infinite timescale it all evens out. There was someone that did a bunch of Lost Sector runs and it seems that Legend lost sectors have a 25% chance while Master lost sectors have a 33.33% chance. If you stop you won’t ever get it. Its rng. It's RNG. But there is a bit of a trick that can help with older exotics if you are willing to put in a few extra steps. Step one is to fill up your engrams so that any exotic you get will go to your postmaster as an engram. Step two is to farm any lost sector until you have a few engrams in your postmaster. Doesn't matter what the daily reward is.
