But hey, at least everything worked out in the end - now I have a fresh install of my whole OS, which was something honestly overdue, BG3 is running just fine once again and I managed to beat Ketheric before going to bed.

Solution Found!: After the most recent patch and switching to Direct X 11 on the Larian launcher, I can now play and load on ultra settings with no problems.
