You don’t need to forward any ports in your router or change settings in the PIA app. Just put the port forward number revealed in the tooltip in the settings->server-> remote access ‘Manually specify public port’ box of your Plex server. This can change every time you reconnect to the VPN so you’ll need to update it. Trouble shooting found out that when the VPN is on now I have no remote access to my Plex server ☹️. Gonna try roll back to an older version of Nord VPN and will report back. Nord VPN allows you to enable vpn only for specific applications now (at least on Windows).
