I also only play offline franchise. My file corrupts around 2027-2030. I get a bluescreen crash either after a game, checking coaching positions/skill trees, or editing a player. Then I load the game back up and the file is stuck in an infinite load loop. September - last edited September. 2022 also has this glitch.

Fire their OC and then switch back to your team to hire the OC. The CPU will auto generate a new OC. Online will be a bit more tricky. You need to have a second user join the franchise and fire the OC (cannot be someone who will be managing a team as they will have the same problem.).
