Don't play face of the franchise, it does that for every position on everyone's game. Play regular franchise and just play as the single player as a RB. I am playing on defense for Face of the Franchise league mode. I don’t like having the camera locked on my player but don’t see how to change it. Is there a way? Yeah go into franchise settings and turn on full on field control. You'll have to control all your players then though. The story, the cutscenes, and some of the objectives are all focused around the QB position. Playing QB gives you the most control over the outcome of each game. You can choose to be locked onto the position or to control the entire offense.

Ive actually found a workaround for this issue, you need to use "manage saves" instead of using the "continue" option.
