The problem is the Kaplan book only has some of what you need to know for P/S plus extraneous stuff. The 300 page doc is better because the P/S stuff chosen by AAMC is rather arbitrary and isn't necessarily what you'd expect to find, but that's what they've deemed fair game. FWIW, JS has BOTH the 300pg doc and stuff from the Kaplan book.When I began studying, it was winter break, so I focused on reading the Kaplan books/Vanilla doc for about 7-8 hours a day, including doing the review questions in the books. I had about 14 days of full-time studying before I went back to lab and cut my studying down to 1-2 hours a day. I supplemented reading the Kaplan books with Anki.

Kaplan is good but incomplete. 300 page doc is the gold standard. If possible read both, if not then read the 300 page. You should be prepared to have some way to memorize the terms. If you do the Kaplan books they lack content and you may have to make your own anki deck for review. Anyone use the 300 page doc and the kaplan book for psych/soc? Disclaimer: I haven't got my score back yet. My avg FL is 507 out of 7 BP FLs. 86 Page is more than enough. 300 Page is just too much imo. Scored 131 on P/S. I did the 300pg doc in 7 days, 8 days if you include the bonus material (pages 300-335). If you combine that with a lot of practice you should be able to score really well on P/S overall.

A lot of people will say anki decks or the 300 page doc but those really didn't work for me (not saying that those are bad!
