Zipline Hub and my Pond Base. I was very happy that the zipline was able to connect through that small hole in the pond lantern. I will state that I had to be patient with the game getting the base initially set up. I first started with the floating floors and built a path straight to the large opening on the lantern.

Gravity pulls you along, so the steeper the incline the faster you go. If you want to go the other way you have to build a second line with the angle different. Gravity can’t push you up a zip line. You build two towers with 2 points that have your ziplines bases one at the top and one at the bottom.

I'm getting to the point in the game where I want to build a zipline hub, what's everyone's thoughts on best materials to build it with? stems, clay and spidersilk. jk, i prefer mushroom bricks, but id rather recommend positioning it in a way that there is no risk of bug attacks, because the anchors get destroyed easily and then the silk is gone.

Using ziplines doesn't require stamina or anything, it's a passive ride. The major limiting factor on their usage is angle of descent - the steeper the incline, the faster you move.
