I have been experiencing that same problem with my 2009 "certified" used Toyota Rav4. No it doesn't happen every day, but it seems to happen at the wrong times. Checking and replacing fuel filters: Locate the fuel filter under your Toyota Corolla. Use a pair of pliers to squeeze the clamps on either side of the filter and slide them off.
