Maytag dryer start button not working.

I am working on a maytag dryer, when you push the start button there is a buzzing noise. I tried bypassing the fuses 1 at a time and then tried all of the thermostats 1 at a time and continued to hear the buzzing noise. I then found the buzzer located on a panel in front of the motor.Unscrew all the screws. Remove the top panel to get access to the start button. Remove the two wires from the start button. These should pop off easily. Connect the two prongs of your multimeter to the two terminals where the wires were previously connected on the start button.
