Losing mucus plug at 33 weeks.

I lost my mucus plug ( at least I thought still think I did ) at 33 weeks… I did thorough research & I honestly feel like it was b/c I haven’t had anything that huge & nasty looking thing come out again not even “ discharge “ … she said no no you didn’t loose it b/c you would go into labor 72 hours after that everyone does blah blah .My birth class lady said you can start losing your plug (bits and pieces or the whole thing) anywhere from 34 weeks (kinda early---traditionally around 36 weeks) to right before birth. It's just an indicator that birth will be happening, but it is not a time sensitive thing. I lost my mucous plug in the week leading up to giving birth at 33 weeks. It's true that some women lose theirs and don't go into labor, but that was not the case for me. I'd recommend monitoring closely for contractions and if you are able to start timing them, head to L&D.
