Apr 26, 2008 · A friend of mine uses Hevi 13 with their .660 choke and he throws some awesome patterns. The guys at Indian Creek recommended that shell to him. They told him to be sure to shoot the Hevi 13 shell that had the most shot in it. I think the 3.5" Hevi 13 Bronze shell has 2 ounces, maybe 2.25 ounces of shot in it.

Now for the recommendation for a aftermarket choke. I know most will side with Sumtoy but have seen on another forum that Indian Creek has started to put them out on the market and they had tested 3 constrictions .380, .385 and .390 but don't know the final verdict. Also saw on their website that Jebs is producing one as well I think in .385.kjb. I was told by Apex to get an Indian creek choke tube for my 20 gauge 870. I still didn't like the pattern it shot. Was recommended by a feller on this forum to try a Remington Super Full. I did. It performed great! I patterned it 40 yards and it is brutal. Sold my Indian Creek.
