in your case, the ECO light is not coming on because of an engine fault code. You will need to figure out what the issue is and get that fixed. But please do consider disabling the VCM feature because it is not good when the ECO light comes on. Lastly , don’t confuse ECO mode with ECON mode. Two different things. Hope this helps a little.
