With a p2181 i would definetly check it. It is very easy to check it on the hemi. The t-stat is in the coolant hose right below the left side of the throttle body. Take off the 2 13mm bolts holding the "neck" to the water pump. It will get a little messy. I recommend to wait till the engine is cold. After all of these parts have been replaced the car is still throwing the code P2181 and the service cooling system light is coming on once the radiator fan turns on. The car doesn't appear to be overheating but the temperature gauge is still not working. I'm trying to figure out if I the new sensor i changed out is bad to where to go next.
