Even though the Uchigatana requires 14 strength and 14 dexterity it's best variant Normal+15 (In my opinion) has an A in dexterity with nothing in strength. Even looking at the other variants it's easy to conclude that this is primarily a dexterity weapon. That means the Longsword is a better choice for groups of enemies, and the Uchi more suited to single targets.
